Some of the most important conversations of your life happen over a meal.

A curated dinner series for women and non-binary people of color who are ready to stop code-switching and start connecting.

Welcome to Liberated & Rooted Dinners

There's a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from spending your days in rooms where you have to translate yourself.

Where you soften your edges, measure your words, and manage how much of yourself you let through, because the cost of being fully seen has historically been too high.

These dinners exist for the moments after that. When you finally get to put it all down.

Liberated & Rooted Dinners are intimate, curated gatherings for women and non-binary people of color who are building lives rooted in liberation, identity, and joy, and who are hungry for community that actually reflects that.

The vibe is warm, unhurried, and real. Good food. Light facilitation to move us past the surface and into conversation that matters. It’s a space to share, to listen, to laugh, and to leave feeling like you've been genuinely seen, maybe for the first time in a while.

What we stand for

This community is unapologetically anti-genocide and pro-Palestine. We believe in the true meaning of equity, diversity, and inclusion. We are 2SLGBTQ+ affirming and stand firmly against all forms of hate.

We are liberated: consciously unlearning the harmful expectations imposed by systems like capitalism, white supremacy, colonialism, and patriarchy.

And we are rooted: in ourselves, in each other, in the wisdom of our ancestors, and in the identities we've had to fight to reclaim.

Your Host

I'm Miriam. A Palestinian woman, former nonprofit executive, and someone who knows both the weight of navigating systems that were never built for us, and the profound relief of finally being in a room where you don't have to explain yourself.

For over 15 years I led human-centered spaces as a nonprofit leader. Today, through coaching, retreats, and these dinners, I create experiences where women and non-binary people of color can gather in safety, connection, and joy.

This dinner is one of those spaces. And I would be honored to have you at the table.
